Why are UI gestures also sent with an error report ?

Hy, Just got some refactoring exception and I saw the new (to me) dialog to send the error report (which also has a netbeans.org login option-nice!). Only that it seems that the UI gestures are tied to that. How come ? I mean, it's unrelated to an error report and it just seem an aggressive way to get usage patterns from users.
