As far as I know NetBeans 6.5 will continue using Woodstock for its 
visual web. If you're interested to know what exact version it's going 
to ship you'd better ask at another forum (not at nbdiscuss). You should 
try with nbusers, for example.

Zero support? I can't believe it! As far as I can tell the NetBeans 
Community is quite responsive. Would you please point me to a 
mailing-list/link/issue you've submitted?

NetBeans offers different support options. NetBeans mailing lists are 
quite active, and you've even have paid suport 
(http://www.netbeans.org/kb/support.html) starting with $49.

I've never used a chat myself. I prefer asynchronous help. Mailing lists 
are the place to go. See http://www.netbeans.org/kb/support.html for 
mailing lists and other suppor options.

There's no such an inability to give support, as far as I can tell. In 
the link above you'll find different suport options, including paid 
support.

Saying that the NB Community is unable to give support is, if not 
offensive, at least unfair.
