The NetBeans team is pleased to announce that NetBeans IDE 6.9 Milestone 
1 is now available for download.

            Java client applications

          o Initial support for Spring 3 framework
          o Automatic import for Java classes and tag libraries in JSP

          o Enhanced code formatting options
    * Ruby
          o Gems indexing
    * C/C++
          o Support for Makefiles: Editor, navigator, run targets
          o Virtual functions: Multiple hyperlinks, annotations
    * Java Editor
          o Support for annotation processors
          o Over 60 new hints added
    * Web Languages
          o CSS refactoring and enhanced code completion
