NetBeans Governance Board Term 19 - Nominations Open!

The NetBeans team is pleased to start the election process for the 19th 
term of the NetBeans Governance Board 
<http://www.netbeans.org/about/os/governance.html>.

Submit your nominations for NetBeans community members that you think 
should be considered for the Board. Send an email with your nominations 
to the [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> alias. 
(Note: Signing up for nbdiscuss 
<http://www.netbeans.org/community/lists/top.html#community> is the 
preferred channel since it is open to the community. List traffic is 
relatively low.)

The email should contain the name(s) of the nominee(s), your reason for 
the nomination and a brief account of the nominee(s)'s NetBeans 
experience (for example, their projects, blogs, community activism and 
so on). You can also nominate yourself.

The *deadline for nominations is Friday, September 30th*, at midnight in 
the last time zone.

Nomination & Voting Schedule:

    * September 19 - September 29: Two-week nomination period
    * October 10 - October 21: Two-week polling period
    * October 24, 2011: New Governance Board announced
