Hello Daniel,
thanks for your suggestion. I agree that submitting OCAs
electronically would be an ideal solution. Having said that I will talk
about it with Luke Kowalski who has been coordinating unification
process for OCAs on the corporate level. Unfortunately, such a change
would have to be feasible and beneficial for all other open source
projects Oracle is sponsoring like OpenJDK, GlassFish, MySQL etc. and
NetBeans is very special in this regard, because we receive way more
OCAs than any other project.
Luckily, Luke is coming to Prague next week and I have a 1:1 with
him scheduled on Wednesday so I will surely discuss this topic with him.
I believe that 4 supporters within just a few hours means something. I
promise to inform you about his standpoint. We can agree on next steps then.
