You need to take special steps to be able to run a graphical environment
in docker.
For mysql, glassfish this is fine and a good idea.
Let the students install Netbeans and a current Java on their own.

If you insist on providing a bundle you can lookup the portable netbeans
howto or provide the os independent zip.
