Two Swing developers required for 12 month contract for large
multi-national software vendor bringing new commercial products to
market. This organisation is one of the largest enterprise software
companies in the world. The project will entail building complex and
scalable Java Swing user interfaces as well as supporting frameworks and
or toolkits for other project team members to utilise. Working remotely
from a home office is required. This project will push your Swing
abilities!
* Ability to work independently and deliver high quality designs
* Strong communication skills in English
* Strong understanding of Java Swing and its internals, minimum 2
years experience
* Experience using the Netbeans Visual Graph Library or the Netbeans
Platform a plus
* Ability to apply proven patterns to enterprise Java Swing
applications.
* Experience with agile methodologies highly desired.
* Proven project experience in software analysis, design,
development and implementation of enterprise wide applications.
* Sound application methodology and process experience on enterprise
and dynamic projects
* Technical knowledge in most of the following areas would be of
benefit: OO analysis and design, Java, J2EE, Swing and Oracle.
