I read the article posted by Robert on the server side
http://www.theserverside.com/home/thread.jsp?thread_id=22748
And I also read all the comments.

And then, I just though about how to enhance that article to maybe have better reaction.
So, I take the article posted by Robert, and give here my comments/remarks.
My remarks are here only to enhance communication with java developpers, and not to do some critism about your work.

> New features

> * New Project System based on Apache Ant
Ant is already integrated into NetBeans. But now, even you projects will be handled by Ant.
> * Refactoring. No more need to install an external module (refactorit, jrefactor). Refactoring will be supported by standard.
> * Support for J2EE 1.4 & bundled Tomcat 5
> * JDK 1.5 Support
> * Outline View	==> Personnaly, I have no idea what does it means as new feature.
> * TaskList ==> As netbeans user, I know the features of the tasklist module. But who know his features, if never used netbeans ?
> * Unit Testing with JUnit ==> Same remark as for refactoring. No more need to install an external module. Supported by standard.
> * Editor Enhancements: Error scrollbar marking ???
> * Editor Enhancements: Smart Templates
> * Editor Enhancements: Autogeneration of JavaDoc
> * Editor Enhancements: Automated Imports Management ==> No more need to use keyboard shortcut or whatever. Really automated.
> * Editor Enhancements: Surround Code, Smart Select
> * Full keyboard-only use ==> Will permits to people having problem to handle the mouse to be able to use use netbeans.
> * Help system based on JavaHelp 2.0
> * Ability to configure External Tools ==> As netbeans user, I really have no idea of what does it means.

Not obvious to understand at a glance all the new features, if you are not a netbeans users.

Maybe, for the next time, send the article to nbmarketing to have a review.

Just a proposal.

P.S Just a question: Do you know how much people that read my java.net weblogs are coming to the netbeans site ?
How can I see that ?
