NetBeans Selected as a Finalist and Scores An Award <mailTo:[email protected]> The momentum surrounding NetBeans is building with community contributions, partner alliances, Sun's reaffirmed commitment to the NetBeans.org open source project and the upcoming NetBeans IDE 3.6 and 4.0 releases. Here is a rundown of the awards: The NetBeans IDE 3.5.1 was selected as a Open Source Tool of the Year Finalist. Sun's J2ME Wireless Toolkit 2.1 was named Wireless Development Product of the Year. Soon NetBeans IDE 3.6 users will be provided with the toolkit through the Auto Update Center that can be directly launched from the IDE.
