OK, I've just posted EN, FR and RU Sprouts to their appropriate
lists. Again, sorry for the delay, this is my first Sprout
experience, and things are *not* set up smoothly. I hope there
were no problems ...
Questions/Notes :
1) I suggest we also localise the Subject: line for translated
Sprouts. If you agree, please send me your translated version
of (in UTF-8 if possible!)
"The NetBeans Monthly Newsletter"
(translated dates should not be necessary, I think ...). I
will add this to the scripts and the next issue can use it.
2) Currently we have a mixture of character sets for Sprouts ..
It would make things much simpler, and consistent with general
website policy, if we stuck to UTF-8 everywhere. What do you
think ? Is this a problem for anyone ?
3) I found some strange behaviour in the scripts which looks like
a bug to me, but maybe I'm missing something. All newlines from
the XML files were removed; but in HTML this means removing
spaces between words. So eg in all translated Sprouts, some
words were joined ... I fixed (? changed) this, and re-published
FR, RU, and NL web-Sprouts with the fixed text;
Any problems or outstanding issues please let me know. Thanks.
