Personally, I don't like very well the proposed new name. 
"NetBeans Developer Journal" give the impression that targeted audience will be NetBeans Developer only and not 
Developers that are using NetBeans to develop their own applications. 
So 

- May I propose somethings like the followings: 
	"NetBeans Community Journal", or
	"NetBeans Community Magazine", or 
	"NetBeans Report", or 
	"NetBeans News", or 
	...
- May I propose a poll, via the www.netbeans.info to let netbeans community choose the name of their monthly newsletter.

- May I also propose to launch a "contest" to find a mascot for NetBeans Monthly newsletter.

- May I also propose to launch

Why. Did you receive complaints about the fact that We receive 5 messages a month + 2 or 3 extra but only when Beta or RC or final version announce. It's really not so much, I think.

Why both ? If it's needed to migrate the weekly newsletter to another mailing list, I think that nbusers would be sufficient.
Every netbeans developers would be also subscribed to nbusers
