Yes :-)  The majority of ppl who subscribe via the download
survey are not typically so interested in the weekly newsletter,
for eg, and mail "unsubscribe" msgs to the list, to the moderators,
and to the list owners.

I think I agree, I'm not sure cross-posting is a good idea.
OTOH nbusers is quite high volume and maybe developers don't
want to subscribe there just for the newsletter ...
