Just to say you that it's already difficult to have some collaboration 
between nbmarketing group and the http://java.developpez.com group.

I said privately to Judith it existed a nice opportunity to establish a 
nice collaboration with java.developpez.com.

It was two months ago.

Until now, I have not yet received any support of nbmarketing.

But http://java.developpez.com
1. created a new forum for (french) NetBeans users
2. is hosting all my french wink demoes of NetBeans
3. is hosting one other tutorial concerning JSF and NetBeans in french
4. is organizing a private chat the 27/10/2005 with Alexis and Ludovic 
Champenois as guest star.
5. logo of NetBeans with links to netbeans.org appears on somes blogs, 
somes tutorial page, some news, ...

I also wanted to know if I had the rights to host all other translation 
I did on java.netbeans.org. I never receive a clear message. Especially 
for the translation of the drafts of the new NetBeans book.

I want to stress nbmarketink team, that it's seem obvious that an editor 
like Prentice Hall or Oreilly will never pay one € to publish a french 
translation of the book. I am just asking to have rights to publish a 
final version of the french translation of the book on 
java.developpez.com. Until now, I never received a GO/NO GO.

http://java.developpez.com has a really bigger audience than 
http://fr.netbeans.org. It's an opportunity to take.

Availability of NetBeans 5.0 would be annouced at Javapolis.
Javapolis offered possibility to create a BOF. So, I created one for 
NetBeans. One hour discussion about NetBeans 5.0 and after. I asked to 
Judith if it was possible to have access to somes material to prepare 
that BOF. But until now, I have not yet received such material.

I hope I will not be obliged, like past year, to cancel the BOF, the day 
before.

So, Manfred, as you see, it's already difficult for me to have support 
and collaboration of nbmarketing. So, I can't imagine it could be 
possible for java-champions group.


But maybe you could explain which kind of collaboration you imagined 
between nbmarketing and java-champions.
