Hello Michael,

My German is not sufficient to make any announcements, so I will ask if
you could do it for me?

I would like to let your forum participants know about our NetBeans
localization project and see if anyone is interested in joining?

Our home page is here
http://translatedfiles.netbeans.org/

We are currently trying to finish up the NB IDE (ui and messages) for
5.0. Much of 5.5 will depend on 5.0.

We already received a good contribution from Andreas Vorgeitz but he is
not available to continue with more contributions.

See the status here
http://translatedfiles.netbeans.org/5.0/status.html

We would like to finish the NB platform as a minimum. That includes
autoupdate, ide, core, libs, openide, projects directories.

If you know anyone who might be interested, please tell them to start here
http://translatedfiles.netbeans.org/docs/first_steps.html

or they can contact me [email protected]
or subscribe to the mailing list [email protected].

There is also more useful information here, for those who might be
interested in translating web content, tutorials, articles, etc.

Many thanks
Janice Campbell
