FYI:

He is from heise.de -- the ones who publish the big German IT magazins 
iX and c't. I took a look at the page:

To give you a feeling for the size of this conference: They plan to have 
30 presentations per day (5 slots x 6 tracks). Plus several keynotes, 
some workshops for 20 persons eachs, and it costs like 1500 Euros to 
attend.

The content doesn't say "Java" anywhere. What I see is on a much higher 
level, like "Enterprise and desktop apps, security, middleware, embedded 
Linux". The list of speakers contains banks, goverment, insurances, 
industry. Sun is listed as a partner (next to IBM &co).

Two days focus on "best OS practices in business" (case studies from 
customers only), while the first day (January 24 2007) showcases 
innovative technologies for businesses -- that latter is where 
Sun/NetBeans fits in.

What kind of preso they want:
- innovative technologies, vision, roadmap.
- The range of features (demo), position on the market (who's the 
competitor), and what's in it for the target group.
- How is it developed and supported (internal/external contributions? 
how many paid by company)?
- "No commercial blah."
- Ten concise slides in PDF, 20 mins.
