whose error is this?

hoping for help, if it's offtopic, be free to blame me

checkout command (initial one) of module autoupdate
gives error with the log ending with

> U autoupdate/src/org/netbeans/modules/autoupdate/Bundle.properties
> U autoupdate/src/org/netbeans/modules/autoupdate/Bundle_ja.properties
> Terminated with fatal signal 11
> Core dumped; preserving /tmp/cvs-serv28073 on server.
> CVS locks may need cleaning up.

It this an error of Netbean's server's cvs, or of the cvs client of
Netbeans?

After five minutes this problem was gone, so suppose it was on the server
side.

Am I write, and what can I do to resolve such a problem in the future?
