How to get correctly CVS command execution success

Hello! Does anybody know how to find out if a CVS command fails. Currently I am using Listener and check the MessageEvent.isError() on invocation of the messageSent(MessageEvent event) method, but it seems that it reports errors even if the operation succeeds.
