Generating Passwords for Storing in the passwd file

Hello!!

I am running my CVSNT server a PServer. In my application I need to be
able to create users. In order to do this I have to store the user names
with the Encrypted passwords in the passwd file in the CVSROOT dir of
the CVSNT server. I wanted to know if there are any Java Libraries/Java
Utilities/any classes in CVSLib that can be used to generate passwords
that are to be stored in the passwd file.
