I believe the keygen.exe proggie just emulates the Unix password generation, so once you have the sourcecode for the algorithm, you're fine. (I just checked tyhe Kar Fogel's book on Cvs. it's the algorithm that's used for the /etc/passwd passwords un unix machines...) regards.
