Home Environment Variable

Hi,

I am looking at strange behavior with regard to the HOME, HOMEPATH and
HOMEDRIVE environment variables as displayed by the environment tab for CVS
profile in Windows 2000. It does not seem to reflect any changes I make to
the environment BEFORE starting netbeans. The HOME somehow seems to remain
as C:\ in my system. I tested other environment variables and the tab seems
to reflect changes correctly.  

Operating System: Windows 2000
Netbeans 3.5

This seems related to 33943. But that issue seems to apply to changes made
after the UI is started. My issue pertains to changes made prior to starting
the UI. I can still see how they could be related internally. Can anyone
clarify that 33943 addresses my issue as well?
