So now that there is some agreement about the changes I would like to send you the CVSRoot & ConnectionFactory & SSH classes. You could review and make changes. But the bigger issue is of course the SSHTOOLS and commons-logging issue. My suggestion is that the user would be instructed on javacvs website that if he wants to use server and ext methods they must download ssh and logging packages. Tell them where to get them etc. And the SSHConnection could throw a clear error in case those two packages are not found. That way we would not have to think about any lisence issues. All in all I would only need to add two classes to javacvs and users would get what they want. And the stiff sun lawyers would not have to be bothered with lisence issues :) - rami
