Hi, as you might already know, javacvs module that was used to mount built-in CVS client into the IDE was removed from the distribution (according to "CVS Support Unification" task planned for Promotion B, see http://vcscore.netbeans.org/plans/planPromoB.html#unify and http://www.netbeans.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=25139). The functionality was moved to the CVS profile for Generic VCS framework, so the built-in client is still there. Therefore javacvs module (filesystem, settings, etc.) is not supported any more. But javacvs library (built-in client implementation) is a part of NetBeans standard distribution and will remain supported. Javacvs changelog generator engine will be reworked and a new version will be put into update center. Due to these changes, we will close all defects that are submitted in Issuezilla for javacvs module (with the exception of library and changelog sub-components) as WONTFIX and add the 'javacvs-last-resort-Dec-2003' marker to status whiteboard. Enhancements/tasks/features will be evaluated and either closed or moved to vcsgeneric module. Issues with library and changelog sub-components will stay opened, because they're still in the product. Regards, Martin
