The library is likely stable already, we do not plan any changes there 
for 4.0. There are no P1/P2 issues. To get the 4.0 library, you should 
checkout javacvs from "release40" branch:
cvs -d :pserver:[email protected]:/cvs co -r release40 javacvs
The instruction of checkout are the same as instruction for checkout of 
NetBeans sources at http://www.netbeans.org/community/sources/cvs.html 
The library is at javacvs/libsrc folder, so it's enough to checkout 
javacvs/libsrc. The build script with the module manifest is in 
javacvs/libmodule, therefore you may want to checkout that as well, or 
the whole javacvs module.

This does not work in release 3.6. This is the issue #47054. The 
arguments from the GUI are passed to JavaCvsCommand class, which calls 
the library. You can verify the arguments in Runtime.
