Hi all,
When doing the following:
- Tag items in the HEAD
- Browse branch and checkout Tag
- Code appears with the Tag label
Updating a file and committing, NetBeans throws:
"CVS Command failed with the following error:
cvs commit: sticky tag `A' for file `somefile' is not a branch
cvs [commit aborted]: correct above errors first!"
Is this a known issue, or something that should not be done?
Is it possible to add a new file with a Tag into CVS through NetBeans?
I understand branches could be used, but would like to understand if
Tags are usable in this scenario.
Thanks in advance,
Matt
