State of org.netbeans.api.xmi and org.netbeans.api.xmi.sax

A few short questions:

How is the current state of org.netbeans.api.xmi and
org.netbeans.api.xmi.sax ?

I assume that both API's are somehow stable and that there is an
implementation for org.netbeans.api.xmi, but not for
org.netbeans.api.xmi.sax. Is this correct ? Are there plans to
implement org.netbeans.api.xmi.sax, too ?
