mdr and java module integration

Hi,

IIRC, Martin Matula was talking some time ago (2, 3 months) about a 
prototype java module which would enable some refactorings. He said that 
   something usable should be expected at the end of march. What's the 
state of this module? Can something be built from CVS? How is the META2 
(?) branch of the java module progressing?
