start point with MDR

Hello dev,

I'm a undergraduate student at the Federal University of Pernambuco in
Brazil and I'm currently involved in a phd research for generation of
integrated metadata interfaces using MOF and XMI.For visualization of the integrated repository, we chose to use the
MDR-standalone feature, which makes possible both visualization and
instantiation of MOF based XML documents.
We're not finding any code example of the MDR-standalone through the WWW
though :(... this is what is missing: a start point, a 'hello word'. I
mean, given a MOF document, which classes I need to instantiate to get an
object represetation of the document? Are there any tools of your known
which have already done this?
Hope you hear my appeal, this is really getting to us :/
