getStereotype with UML1.3

Hi evrybody, 
 
I'm translating JMI UML1.4 code to UML1.3 and I've still a problem 
because I can't use functions like ModelElement.getStereotype(). 
I've look at the UML1.3 and UML1.4 metamodel and the only difference 
seems to concern this point is the multiplicity. The role names are 
identics. SO: 
 
I do I get an Element Stereotype from UML1.3 JMI ModelElement 
interfaces???? 
 
Did I make a mistake on my JMI generation???
