Jorg, it seems to me that for your application it would be best to use the memory implementation of the storage - it keeps everything in memory rather than creating the database files. To use the memory implementation set org.netbeans.mdr.storagemodel.StorageFactoryClassName to org.netbeans.mdr.persistence.memoryimpl.StorageFactoryImpl.
