[mdr-users] Suggested way to use MDR

Hello MDR people,

I'm very new in MDR and have several questions about the best way to play
around with this tool.
I know that Netbeans 4++ doesn't have MDR explorer, so I ask you guys
whether it is preferable to:

1. Use Netbeans 3.5.2 or something below 4 that still have MDR Explorer
2. Use MDR tool for Ant
3. Or is there any other way than I don't see it yet?

I don't really know the status of MDR code, is the development still doing
fine and are there big progress? (something like going to support XMI 2.0
and other new standards). I'm very curious about this since the website
seems so many behind so I don't know anything new about the development.

And maybe you can give suggestion whether it's much preferable to use other
model tools like EMF from Eclipse or anything else. Actually, I looked MDR
at first glance because it follow standards, but I really don't see the
development progress...
