Up-to-date netbeans debugger tutorial?

Hi All, 

Does anybody know any good and up-to-date tutorial for implementing debugging possibilities for a new language in NetBeans? 

I have this one, but not sure if it is still good enough, it is for 6.9 - https://dzone.com/articles/how-reuse-netbeans-debugger.
