Re: Application deployement, user config file

Thanks for your reply. My question was slightly different, sorry. Doing as you suggested actually takes the custom .conf file and deploys it into the C:/Program Files/ApplicationName/etc during the installation of the application. According to this tutorial : http://wiki.netbeans.org/FaqNetbeansConf , there are two places where we can put such conf files. The first one is a global location (it works for all users) and the second one is user dependent. Apparently the user dependent one overrides the global one. The user dependent one has to be located in ${userdir}/etc/ myCustom.conf. I am interested in using the user dependent one but it is not deployed during installation by using “app.conf= nbproject/myCustom.conf” in the project.properties file. Is there a way to do it?
