I guess there’s no official  API for that. You could could disable the default sidebarfactory and enable /implement your sidebarfactory with your own buttons.

Hi 

I added screen shot. When user clicks on class file netbeans generates java in cache and opens it for view like in screenshot.

There is button "Attach Sources"

Is the way to add another button to that funtionality/view ?
