Re: Where to host former Kenai or java.net OSS projects?

This is getting a bit off-topic, but might be relevant for some
people. SourceForge was owned by Dice Holdings[1] alongside with
Slashdot[2]. Dice really screwed up both sites (the adware gaffe, as
you say, for example) and they ended up selling both. What I'm
perceiving from the new administration is that they're hearing the
users and many things are back the way they were before Dice. The only
complaint I have about SF is that the different platforms don't seem
integrated (forums, wiki, mailing-lists), but that's a minor thing to
me. I think you only hear complaints because the users (any user)
hardly speak out for anything but to complain ;)

Disclaimer: I'm not endorsed to SF in any way, but I do appreciate
their efforts to support open source software and I've been a happy
user for more than 10 years.
