NetBeans Platform at JavaOne 2016

Hi all,

Over the years, several of you have spoken about your NetBeans Platform 
work at JavaOne, in San Francisco, i.e., the annual Java conference, the 
key event of the Java year.

It's always a good time and a lot of you have extended your networks as 
a result of attending JavaOne, have made new connections, new business 
partnerships, etc.

This year, as every year, JavaOne will take place again -- from 
September 18 to 22. It will be prefaced by a community Sunday, as 
always, with a NetBeans Day, as well as a NetBeans party for the whole 
NetBeans community at Johnny Foley's in San Francisco.

The 'call for proposals' is actually closing today, though there'll be a 
bit of time after that wherein we can squeeze more topics.

As always, would be great to have NetBeans Platform content -- something 
that somehow connects to the issues/hypes of the day, e.g., Cloud, IoT, 
and so on.

Please dop me a mail if you'd like to participate in one or more of the 
sessions at JavaOne this year, e.g., a panel where you'd speak for about 
10 minutes as part of a group discussion, or a session where you speak 
on your own, or some combination of these formats.

Interested in seeing a lot of NetBeans Platform content, as in every 
other year!
