Visual Lib and Retina

I am planing to use the visual library in a netbeans rcp application. Before I start can anyone say if this lib is retina ready ?

I am asking because mainly netbeans is on the grapfical sidy not retina ready and therefore I want to know if I should bypass the visual lib and use a jfxPanel instat.
