NetBeans maven repo down? (2016-07-31)

Is http://bits.netbeans.org/nexus/content/groups/netbeans down?

I tried creating a fresh new maven-based NetBeans Platform application and a clean build gives this error:

Same goes if I delete my maven cache (~/.m2), as well as if I use http://bits.netbeans.org/maven2/ (older repo location?) instead.

Am I doing something silly?
