Status of Netbeans Platform?

Hi all,

what is the current status of the Netbeans Platform? Is it still an active project or more or less in maintenance mode?

I see that there are a lot of bug reports submitted with test cases that do not even receive a single comment or acknowledgment. And this goes back to 2008, it looks like the only changes to bug reports are people posting "I have this problem too".

I am very happy with the Netbeans Platform, but I can't fix low level bugs in the Window System or work around them.
