Hello Ulrich, I could reproduce your issue on Linux, NB 8.02, NBP Build Build 201411181905. No problems at startup. It does resize back the first time you run it, however, since your TC has a persistence type PERSISTENCE_ALWAYS, the last preferred size is somehow saved and then you can only make it bigger the next time. Note that with using PESISTENCE_NEVER, it will allow you to make it smaller, but only to a minimum size. I think this might be related to some of your docking modes, have you created a custom one? If so, can you remove it and try again? Hope it helps.
