'Package as' creates faulty application

I'm not sure if I've fixed this now but I am able to get the .zip distribution to appear consistent each time I open it. I found a folder for my application in my Users/username/ roaming apps folder that must have been left over from a previous attempt at installing the application. After deleting it I've had no problems with initial setup of the .zip distribution although the installer still seems to have a problem when it completes.
