Hello Netbeans Developers,

We are happy to join this community. Our company is developing a large,
database (MySQL) system on top of the Netbeans RCP.

We want to take advantage of Rich Client Platform to develop the
"Government Platform" and corresponding module development to develop
the "Government Modules", essentially Java/MySQL applications.

We'd like to know some in this community who are "experts" or have
developed and deployed desktop & client-server applications on top of
the Netbeans Platform with MySQL Database in the back.

We have considered 3 deployment scenarios for our single large (Netbeans
Platform & MySQL) database application, as follows;

 	* Desktop deployment option - deployable as a desktop application
with MySQL server residing on deployment machine
 	* Local Network deployment option - deployable as a networked
application having multiple PCs connecting to a MySQL server residing on
a machine the local area network
 	* Online deployment option - the desktop and network deployment can
synchronize with

The modules in the Application itself include modules to facilitate the
above tasks, user role management on the application's MySQL database,
module management search available modules/add/activate/remove any
module ( all possible from the user end)

The modules themselves to add to the application are very many and
contentious, but the initial modules are simply to automate the module
management process from the end-user perspective.
For the online database we have already setup dedicated server with
deidicated IP where MySQL server in running, this is to enable further
developing web applications to analyse data brought in by desktop and
network deployments

Forgive me for dumping this on you guys but I'd really ant to have some
few people with steller experience on best possible way to go about
this, not necessarily to develop code but to give pointers on the above,
yes?
