Hello,

IMHO, NetBeans for Beginners and JavaFX on the Netbeans Platform are the
best books to start with. Then, more "reference" oriented you will have
Definitive Guide to the Netbeans Platform and the older book Rich Client
Programming if you want to develop plugins for the IDE. Even if the stuff
described is still valid it would need a serious refresh to use the latest
annotations and module ( @Geertjan: hint, hint). Then finally have a look
at the dev faq for very precise questions.

Hope it helps.
