NB 8.2 What is the difference between app.exe and app64.exe when you use a 64 bit JRE ?

Cool. Thanx. I also now removed the app.exe from the distro to avoid confusion for the user. 

Dekstop shurtocut and Start menu are than not created as it looks for app.exe.

I am currently looking through the code in harness/nbi, but if you can remember: where did you change the code/ref file(s) to make sure it creates shortcuts and start menu pointing to app64.exe ? ... I admit being lazy here asking as it of course must be somewhere under harness/nbi
