I did say "it is sufficient to have a FileChooser", not "we do not have 
a need for Project Filechooser".

Compare, for instance, the usability of filechooser generally used in 
Windows 98 (there are meta-objects, like Desktop, My Computer, ...) and 
in Windows 3.11 (pure filechoosers). And consistency throughout the 
system matters, too.

BTW I requested this file chooser months ago (in November ?), to provide 
more usable browsing even for java-related stuff, but the request was 
somehow ignored (no clear resolution from UI). Also please see Vita's
