While we are on this topic: did anyone considerer rewriting welcome 
screen implementation? Maybe that you are satisfied with UI but we all 
know that it is performance killer. 3 JEditorPanes rendered by 
HTMLEditorKit, too complex table and so on.

just a reminder that it should be addressed.
