I might have found the problem.

The files-distribution includes a replacement version of the
java module.  I distributed only the java.jar module, not the
other .jar's delivered by the java module. That seems to have
caused the java module to disable itself - it doesn't like
having the java.jar in the user directory and the other .jar's
in the IDE directory - they want to live together.

So I've updated the download file to include all the java .jars.
Now the download is 1.7 Mb instead of 1Mb.

Try it - it should work. (If it doesn't, it might be because
the IDE remembers that the Java module is disabled. Go to the
Setup Wizard and re-enable everything.)
