Thanks for the pointer - I've updated the documents.

I've created a "how to build" document which hopefully explains
what you need.

The only "tricky" part is that you need to have a patched
version of the java module. I've tried to explain it in the
document;  let me know if I've glossed over anything that
needs better explanation.
