....I'm working on a rewrite that the java module maintainers
will accept and integrate into their module.  They didn't like
the dependency on a org.netbeans.modules.java class, so I'm
creating a registry class in org.netbeans.api.java.

Actually, if this is creating a problem for you it's easy for
me to update the patch and source files in the tasklist module.
I'll go do that now, look for a CVS update in 2 minutes.
