Where did you download the module from?  The files on the tasklist
web site are for the development version of NetBeans, but I believe
the NetBeans 3.4 update center has a version of the tasklist that
works with NetBeans 3.4 (it doesn't have everything that the new
development version does).

If you built tasklist from source, there is a "release34" branch
that makes tasklist work with NetBeans 3.4.  It contains everything
that the current tasklist version does - except it's about two weeks
out of date (meaning we haven't merged back to the branch for about
two weeks).  However, note that the javaparsing feature won't work
with Netbeans 3.4 (because it requires a modification to the java
module currently being integrated but won't be backported to the 3.4
modules (which are frozen now that 3.4 has been released).

I didn´t use the Control Center). I will try to use the Control Center at

If you unzip it, it contains a README file which tells you what to do.
But note that it doesn't work with 3.4.  So if you're committed to
using 3.4, you'll have to use the Update Center. However, that version
is mostly focused on the user task list; the suggestions feature is
more or less missing from it (or it's an early dev version).

I've been using the development build a fair bit and it seems pretty
stable. I prefer it over 3.4. (Be sure to get a Q-build though.)

Yes, I read it, and just tried to install it (even the file saying the other
hand) because I´m a little stubborn :-). I downloaded the module just for
test of the environment, and what can be done with it. The description of
the project is very interesting, and is a behavior that I use very much.

I´m a Delphi native developer, so some experts (equivalents to modules on
NetBeans) may be a kind of usefull, and the Task List is one of them.
