The normal process for open source development is that you send the diffs either via e-mail, or create a PATCH issue in Issuezilla and attach it there. The module owner then looks it over to see if it's okay. After one or two submissions the module owner may then decide "yes, I can trust your code" and grant write permission so you become a regular developer on the buglist module. This is how Trond and Tim got their commit privileges. That's the normal process. However, I'm overjoyed at having somebody work on the buglist module, since I don't have time to myself. So, I would like to nominate you to be the buglist maintainer. I'll give you commit privileges to the tasklist module so that you can putback your changes, and anything else you want to add to it. I would appreciate it if you also discuss your plans on this alias (and if you plan to change anything outside of the bugs/ directory, coordinate with me.) What is your NetBeans.org username? -- Tor
